Now to become their affiliate all you have to do is to create a account there which is free. Now after you have activated you account you can visit market place to see what products are being offered. Chose the product which is relevent to your site content or niche. It is really important that you choose product according to your expertise. If you are owner of a website then you must have knowledge about your niche for which you are maintaining your site content. The more relevant is clickbank product to your site the greater are chances that your referrer will buy that product. Also check the gravity of the product before selecting it for promotion. Gravity represented by Grav in clickbank is simply a weighted number of affiliates who have sold at least one product over the last 8 weeks, with the more recent sales counting for more than those made 8 weeks ago. So its important that you choose a product which is good in gravity. A higher value of Grav is highly appreciated. More Grav means you have greater chances of selling it. For selection of your relevant product there are two ways:
- You can choose it through different categories available. Further browsing will take you to your required product.
- You can type your niche word in the search box and all the relevant products will be there. You can arrange order of resulted products being shown on your screen. You can arrange them by Grav or by any other way.
How to Promote Certain Product:
Now that you have choosed your required product its time to promote that product. You will need a referrer link to promote that particular product. This referrer link must have specific information about your ID so that clickbank can understand persons coming through this link. You will get referrer commission only if people are purchasing product after following your particle affiliate link. Now its clear to you that getting a referrer link is very much important. Now when you click promote button next to product information space a little window will open. In this window at the top will be your referrer link and below will the “Click Here” link code. When you will put this code anywhere in your site then Click Here will become a link and any one clicking it will be directed to the product sales page. This is the simple way of advertising that product. Some product sales pages offer their affiliate facility of banners. On their site you will need to look some affiliate area and there you will find different banners and codes for it. When you will paste these codes in your site these banner will appear there. Don’t forget to add you referrer link in these codes. They must have clearly mentioned the place where your referrer link will fit in.
How to Check Your Analytics:
After all the set up mentioned above you will be impatient to know about how many visitors are clicking on the referrer banners on your site and how many of them are purchasing and hence offering your commission income. For this purpose you will have to visit reporting section and in that section click analytics. Here you will get information about your hops. Hops are clicks on you referrer links. These hops will tell you about how many people are clicking on your banners. Don’t forget to add a unique ID in your referrer link ( you can do it while getting affiliate link), this way you can make sure that which specific product is getting more clicks in your site.
